Our partners from the Maasai communities in Kajiado County (Kenya, East Africa) will have a beauty workshop during theMendoat School’s Open House Night on Monday, December 16. Come and learn how to make Maasai Jewelry with us.
Bring your lunch and hear about how Indimark partnerships are helping to advance the organization’s mission to create a worldwide network of resources and connections – physical and virtual- ensuring that no person in need (especially women) feels powerless or alone.

On Saturday, December 7 from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm we are hosting the Third Maasai Open House at 5013 La Crosse Lane, Madison. Members of the Kenyan Maasai Community will be sharing stories from the savannas and fund raising for IndiMark.org by selling handmade jewelry, handbags, sandals and art work made by Maasai women. The money raised will be put toward drilling wells to produce clean, convenient water for the Maasai community, freeing Maasai girls to attend school instead of fetching water.
Join IndiMark to celebrate cultural diversity in Madison! This year’s iteration features artists, musicians, craft vendors, cooks, storytellers and scholars.
IndiMark will be showcasing Maasai arts & crafts to support the building of wells and empowering local communities. Items sold will be handmade jewelry, sandals, and much more! Come and meet at our booth and learn more about advancing the livelihoods of these tribal groups in Kenya.
We are delighted to be visiting the Traeger School again where we will be participating at the Diversity Day event.
IIndimark will be participating in the harvest season celebration with the Wisconsin Tamil Sangam Association. We will have a booth showcasing handcrafted Maasai jewelry and accessories and support WITSA.

Our partners from the Maasai communities in Kajiado County (Kenya, East Africa) will give short presentations about their culture and way of life with a special focus on how living on the savannahs in Maasai Land shapes their livelihood for both Wisconsin First Nations and African Survey classes .
Students from the New Century School in Verona will hear about water and water scarcity as well as gender roles and empowerment of girls in Maasai Land. (presented by our partners from the Maasai communities in Kajiado County, Kenya, East Africa).
